Utah Wins In Over Time

Great over time win for Utah over BYU. It was close the whole time and no team could pull away. Both teams had chances to win it at the end but neithercould. With a big night from Luke Nevill Utah was able to pull away in over time. Good game and was glad that I went with my beautiful friend Kellie. I would of posted a picture with her if my phone had not died. Also I have to say good luck to the cool BYU fan who sat next to us and I had a good chat with now and than during the game. He came up to support his team even though he has a eight page paper due tomorrow. Go Utes!

Wasatch Back

I decided last week to join some friends on running the Wasatch Back Relay from Logan to Park City Utah. Its about 200 miles through the mountains in late June. Its been a while since I have ran that much so I will be getting back into shape to run this. I have three goals in mind in doing this, besides finishing:

1. Strengthen My Legs
   
2. Increase Flexibility
   
3. Lose Weight

These are three things that I need to improve on to help my in getting ready for this race but for over all health. You should check out Wasatch Back at www.ragnarrelay.com, they have tons of information about the race and other races they have set up across the country. These people have done a very good job of planning this out and are very organized. Props to the people at Ragnar Relay for putting so much work into this to get people ready for this race.

The New Man Shop

This is dad's new work shop that they built in the backyard. So dad can have the room to build stuff and mom can park in the garage.

Utah Utes Parade

They had a parade in downtown Salt Lake City today for the University of Utah Football team. Back in 2004 when you first busted the BCS they said to live it up because this was a once in a life time kind of thing. Well just 4 seasons later we are at it again and partying and living it up. There was thousands of people people that turned out to support the team. A buddy and I got some of the players to sign our 2008 MUSS t-shirts.

Coach Whittingham, the man who made this all happen. He is a Utah Man and is a great coach and person but he does not like to be the center of attention. But he does it for the fans and his team and puts them first.

Louie Sakoda, the nations favorite kicker. Since when does a kicker go for the highest bid at a date auction, now other than Louie Louie. There where tons of girls taking pictures and calling out for him and even some men.

Brian Johnson, one of the greatest QB in Utah history and best 2-minute QB in the nation. Lots of people had their doubts about him during the year but nobody can complain about his accomplishments. There is no one I would rather have than him leading our team into battle.

I need myself one of these, Tailgate in style. I have always wanted to get into cooking real BBQ and tailgating in style. Really its just a reason to combine some of my favorite things, college football and good food.

Getting some love from some Hot Utah girls. I have to hand it to them for showing up on a cold winter day but also all the games this year. They were popular with the TV crew, camera men, players and of course me. Being near them got me some camera time as well, but who is going to notice me when they are around.

Let the Snow Fun Begin

What a great day for snowshoeing.

Great snow, great weather and a great friend.

We took out time getting up and ran into a lot of people, guess we were not the only ones who thought it was a great day to be up enjoying the snowy mountains.

We had lunch with some hot cider and than took off on some of the best sledding ever. The snow was slick and the path was like racing down a bobsled track. We hit some jumps and took did a bit off path that was tons of fun and am so glad I had my goggles on or I would of hit that tree at the end.

Jealous? Let me know and we can go some time.

Utah Wins Big

Utah wins by 30, 91 - 61 with tough defense and great scoring in the paint. The had no half time solution for the big guy Luke. That is the end of non-confrence play and a tough one at that and I think the team has done well and it has made them better. Go Utes!

Half Time

Utah is up 43 34 at the half. Luke is owning the paint and they do not have a guy big enough to guard him. The gymnastics team showed up at half time as well, the Red Rocks rock! I better ou give up my day job to become a sports writer but I am writing from my phone.
